Hello All,
We need to add CYW43439 driver in Linux kernel 3.2 on Phycore AM335x board.
Is there any CYW43439 driver available supported in Linux kernel 3.2?
If not where can I get the latest driver and what are the changes required to support this driver in kernel 3.2?
Thanks,
Prathamesh Kulkarni

Hi The latest driver supports older kernel (v3.10+) using backports project which is part of the driver.

Vivek.

Hi @prathamesh ,
The latest driver can be downloaded from the following link -> https://community.infineon.com/t5/Wi-Fi-Bluetooth-for-Linux/Cypress-Linux-WiFi-Driver-Release-FMAC-2...
From the README file of the latest driver, the FMAC driver backports support from V3.10+ to v5.15.58
We do not support Linux kernel < v3.10
Regards
Vivek.

HI @prathamesh,
We don't have a guide on the changes needed to work with kernel 3.2. However manual porting is required to replace the latest APIs with older APIs etc.. and also please note that all the functional tests are tested and verified on kernels greater than v3.10+ so if there are any issues with kernel 3.2 we may not be able to support fully.
Regards
Vivek.

Hi @Vivek_gunapati ,
Sorry for the delay in response. I can find the latest drivers herehttps://community.infineon.com/t5/Wi-Fi-Bluetooth-for-Linux/Cypress-Linux-WiFi-Driver-Release-FMAC-2...
Could your please share the link for drivers compatible for the other kernel versions i.e. kernel version 3.2 - 3.10?

Hi @prathamesh,
The drivers released support only Kernel version 3.10+ we don't have drivers compatible with older kernel out of the box.
Regard
Vivek.

Hello @Vivek_gunapati ,
It would be helpful if you share link for the driver compatible for lowest kernel version i.e. 3.10?
