Hello everyone,

I'm trying to get Wifi wake on LAN work on our custom hardware with 1YN and STM32F157. But I haven't succeeded yet. Here is the description:

I understand that the `WIFI_HOST_WAKE` is an active low interrupt pin.

The related pins on our board are as follows:

Both PG12 and PI11 are connected to WIFI_HOST_WAKE pin. PG12 is a normal GPIO, and PI11 is a power wakeup pin.

PI10 connected to WIFI_PWR_EN pin.

If I don't bias the PG12 and PI11 pins (WIFI_HOST_WAKE), it kinda works. WIFI_HOST_WAKE most of the time is 0 ( should be 1). And seems like it briefly switches to 1 when a packet arrives. (Behaves as if Active high). This is a problem. Because brcm driver expects periodic interrupts, not just when it gets the packet. When you don't bias the interrupt pin this is fine because it gets interrupted all the time (due to: active low - level interrupt).

I observed 20k+ oob interrupts per second when not biased. This is because the fact that the brcmf_oob_intr interrupt is triggered with LEVEL_LOW . But the WakeUp-wifi interrupt is triggered with a falling edge and it seems like it increases while I'm pinging the device.

However, since the brcm driver gets thousands of interrupts per second, the system becomes unstable, and sometimes it doesn't wakeup from sleep. It reboots. Some other times, it wakes up with touch while the number of wifi wakeup interrupts got increased ( it should have woken up from wifi but this doesn't happen all the time)

If I bias with a pull up, WIFI_HOST_WAKE pin always becomes 1, and the probe fails because brcm expects periodic interrupts. Logs are attached.

Overall, my conclusion is that if we set muxenab=0x11 on the NVRAM, WIFI_HOST_WAKE behaves as if a packet arrived interrupt and is active high. But what we need is an interrupt similar to SDIO interuupts where the interrupt is generated when there is communication between the SOC and 1YN.

Here I understand that if we provide a host-wake interrupt to brcm driver, it stops observing SDIO interrupts. So the oob interrupt should cover both packet arrived and communication interrupts.

I use "ip addr add " cmd to setup the ip address of wifi and the wifi AP will up, but the client can't link to this wifi AP.

when i use "ip addr show wlan0 " cmd to check the wifi interface and find that show as this snapshot.
