AIROC™ Wi-Fi MCUs Forum Discussions
Hi Communties,
I have questions about IFW56810(The AIROC™ Cloud Connectivity Manager (CCM) modules).
https://www.infineon.com/cms/jp/product/wireless-connectivity/airoc-cloud-connectivity-manager/
According to the ProductBrief and DataSheet, I guess this module is not certified for Japan.
When we want to use this module in Japan, how can we deal with certification?
Can we request Infineon to do the certification work?
Or do we need to do the certification work by ourselves?
Best Regards,
T. Shibutani / Nexty

In this specific situation, wpa_supplicant (wpa_cli) is used when the device which has CYW43455 1MW chip is in normal mode. When the device goes to deep sleep( linux goes suspend to RAM mode) 1MW chip goes to power-save mode.
My question is when the device is in the state above, can we use internal supplicant to offload gtk rekeying ? And is it possible that when the device is back to normal state to external and internal supplicant are used simultaneously?
Show LessHi,
I am implementing WLAN Low Power Mode using Type 1LV with STM32H747I-DISCO on stm32cube IDE. When wifi module connected with phone's hotspot its working fine, i.e. waking up only after receiving packets. But when it is connected with router, It wakes up continuously as it identifies broadcast and multicast activities on router. Is there any api or any method which can block these multicast and broadcast packets on wifi from router. I have used WLAN OFFLoads enabled method also, but it still detects those activities. I only want it to wake up after i send a packet.
Thanks,

Show LessHi Sir
We are using Nvidia Jetson Nano + CYW55573/AWXB327MA-PUR M.2 , referring to the Nvidia Jetson bring-up with Infineon AIROC Wi-Fi 6 CYW5557x documentation at https://github.com/neilch0811/Infineon-AIROC-Wi-Fi-Nvidia-Release/blob/5099250b501d4e06dbd8c7e96d163decb8a82d75/Nvidia%20Jetson%20Orin%20AGX%2BCYW55573-DebianPkg-BringupSteps.pdf
and

We can successfully connect to the internet using command-line instructions. However, we are unable to manage Wi-Fi using the OS's built-in network manager. The options related to Wi-Fi in the network manager are greyed out, and wpa_supplicant is mentioned to be used from FMAC. Can you provide us with some guidance on how to address this issue? Thank you.

Hi Colin,
Thank you for your help in this issue.
But when i use the way show as below.
WPA2:
wl apsta 0
wl up
wl ap 1
wl up
wl channel 1
wl wsec 4
wl wpa_auth 128
wl set_pmk 12345678
wl ssid "wpa2_ap"
wl bss up
wl status
I use "ip addr add " cmd to setup the ip address of wifi and the wifi AP will up, but the client can't link to this wifi AP.
when i use "ip addr show wlan0 " cmd to check the wifi interface and find that show as this snapshot.
There is a "NO-CARRIER " in here.
so how can i fix it?

How can i use wl tool to config the ip address and password for wifi AP mode?
Meanwhile, for "Key management Algorithms ", how can i use wl tool config it? ( May be Key management algorithms include wpa-psk and wpa-eap. )
