Hello
Im doing the Modustoolbox Training level 3 type 2. I only have the CYW920721M2EVK-02 at my disposal, and I wanted to try the fist example in the chapter.
In the makefile its only the CYW920721"B"2EVK-02 , which is supported for the example. Is it possible to port the example to the target CYW920721"M"2EVK-02?
I have tied to include the CYW920721"M"2EVK-02 BSP from the library manager, but it does not work.
Best wishes
Kristoffer
Hi~
Our customer requestes MSL level for CYW20719.
I found 'MSL' in some CYW20719 Modules(CYBT-423054, CYBT042038 etc).
But I cannot find a MSL for CYW20719 chip.
How can I find a MSL?
Thanks alot

Show LessImplemented "wiced_bt_ble_scan" based on [ble_wifi_onboarding].
But the return value of "wiced_bt_ble_scan" is always 8100 (pending).
The content of p_scan_result in the callback registered with "wiced_bt_ble_scan" is also NULL.
What do you think is causing this?

Show LessHello,
I am working with CYW20706 Bluetooth chip (CYW920706WCDEVAL kit). I want to connect two devices with HF and AVRC controller profiles simultaneously. I am using the "Audio_Headset" example from Modus Toolbox. When I am connecting two devices, first of them is connects with HF and AVRC controller profiles as I want. Second one is connecting only with AVRC controller profile. When I am trying to connect it as a HF too, new connection is rewriting one of already existing connections (has the same handle number). Also, it seems possible to create two HF connections and one AVRC controller, but the last connection is never working.
It looks like maximum connections number is limited on 3. Is this possible to do what I want with this chip?
Thank you!

Hi i am trying to test EZ BLE modules and i have downloaded Mesh_Snip_Performance_Testing and Mesh_Snip_Provision_Client, following the procedure shown in https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-PSoC_Programmer_Release_Notes_Version_3.28.7-Software-v01_00-EN.pdf?fileId=8ac78c8c7e7124d1017e90a4bc350c33&utm_source=cypress&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=202110_globe_en_all_integration-files
However, when i access ClientControlMesh through ModusToolbox IDE, i cannot find any options that specify Models, Configuration and Mesh Performance tabs. I can only see Light Control tab available. I am pretty sure i am on an updated btsdk (ModusToolbox 2.4.0 linux). What is going on? How do i find the Mesh Performance tab for testing purpose? Thanks.
Hi,
I am using ModusToolbox and I have managed to program the Audio Gateway sample program onto my CYW20706 and it works perfectly when I pair it and send audio to my Hands-Free device.
I also managed to program the RFCOMM Serial Port sample program onto my CYW20706 for SPP communication and I managed to send/receive serial data to the same Hands-Free device.
The Hands-Free device I'm using is a Microchip BM62 which is both HFP and SPP compatible simultaneously.
My issue is now that I want to combine the Audio Gateway and the SPP programs so that I can program my CY20706 and have it transmit audio as well as serial data to my Hands-Free device simultaneously and I just don't know how.
Please advise me on how to do this. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks in advance.

Show LessHi cypress team,
I am working on CYBT-343026 and trying to transport the .ota.bin through uart and update the firmware by myself. I have upgraded the firmware successfully but I have a question is that I have read the pdf
And it says that there are two firmware partition DS1 and DS2 and my firmware will be written to the inactive partition. When the download procedure is completed and the received image is verified and activated, the currently active partition is invalidated, and then the chip is rebooted. After the chip reboots, the previously inactive partition becomes active.
But if I didn't write firmware to flash correctly, After I call wiced_firmware_upgrade_finish(). The whole system seems to be crash.
My question is do I need to verify the image by myself?
If yes, how?
If no, the boot code will check if the image is valid or not. Shouldn't it run the origional image but not the invalid image?
Show LessI Am using MIFA antenna based on below link.
As per Figure 15. two different antenna shape are listed. so basically saying for 62mil PCB T_Tip is not needed. If so Fig10 is designed for same thickness right?

Hi,
I've seen that the CGS file for CYW20706A2 wiced uart firmware was limiting the ACL Buffers to 6 (see "Host claim ACL down payload count" in file mtb_shared/wiced_btsdk/dev-kit/baselib/20706A2/release-v3.3.0/COMPONENT_20706A2/internal/20706A2/wiced_uart/bld/20703A2_wiced_uart.cgs).
Also in the project app_bt_cfg.c file, we can define more buffers for the ACL messages (default is also 6 here).
Changing the buffer count in the app_bt_cfg.c file do not change the value that is sent in response to a "HCI_READ_BUFFER_SIZE" command.
Changing the buffer count in the CGS file do change the value seen by HOST.
Questions :
1/ Can I change the value in the CGS file (I can do it by modifying the CGS file and compiling again, but I don't know if this will work, maybe it's tighly linked to some fixed buffer structure in the 20706 firmware) ?
2/ Is the app_bt_cfg.c setting meaningfull when the chipset is used in HCI mode ?
3/ Do I have to change both values to make it work (i.e : I wan't to increase the value from 6 to 8 buffers, do I have to change the buffer count in app_bt_cfg.c at the same time I change the CGS file ?)
Regards, Jerome
