Hi!
We are about to launch a product that includes the CYBT-343026-01 module, but we are experiencing issues with the low classic Bluetooth range
To make sure it's not our hardware or firmware, we did a new test using two CYBT-343026-EVAL boards and EZ-serial firmware that comes loaded from the factory on these boards, full line-of-sight environment, free of obstacles, in a parking lot, and the communication range was about 60 meters (200 feet)
Based on this post https://community.infineon.com/t5/AIROC-Bluetooth/Bluetooth-Classic-range-using-CYBT-343026-01-modules/td-p/385775 and the link budget described on datasheet, we are expecting 150 meters, or at least 100 meters
Is there something we can do to improve the range?

Hello.
I could make build, program, connect to Windows 10 as HID. And send key stoke via HID.
But windows Bluetooth off and on, it connected again but my test board cannot send data any longer although HID is connected.
Can you please give me any idea?

Is Infineon out of the BLE business ?
When I go here
And click on (I tried many) to buy online there was ZERO inventory on any of the several parts I looked at.

Show LessHello,
Please let me know the maximum period that I must wait after power ON before the CYBT343026-01 module has booted. The module does send a boot event but this is in text mode and the Infineon ez-serial parser does not handle it. So I plan to simply wait for the appropriate time.
There is another thread (forum post) which suggests a wait of 1 second, but this seems like an arbitrary suggestion and not something that came out of a spec. In our application boot time is important so I need to know the correct time.

Show LessI can set P6_3 and P5_5 into pwm, but can't set P5_4 and P6_2 into pwm.
However, the datasheet display that P5_4 and P6_2 can be config into pwm.
Show LessHi,
I tried to generate 2MHz clock using the function wiced_hal_aclk_enable(). However, trying with all the possible configuration, I could not generate the clock frequency. Moreover, another function wiced_hal_aclk_pads_config(UINT32 gpio, UINT32 src) is declared in the header but not defined and linker issued undefined reference error.
Please, help me in resolving this issue.
Thanks,
Papendu
Show LessHi~
I'd like to make a stand-alone BT device with OLED display((SSD1306).
I found a sample code in CYW20819, But this sample source is too olde to apply.
I need a sample application which can be oprerated in current IDE tool(Modus 3.0)
Could you support sample application for it ?
Many thanks

Show LessHi,
I have troubles programming my CYW920719B2Q40EVB-01. After doing some research, I found the tool fw-loader could help me troubleshoot
However, I have this answer when my device is connected (I tried both USB ports of my computer):
PS C:\Users\Username\ModusToolbox\tools_3.0\fw-loader\bin> .\fw-loader.exe --device-list

Hi!
I'm looking to use CYBT-483056-02 module with an external microcontroller and EZ-serial protocol
Downloading Infineon-EZ-Serial_Host_API_Protocol_Library-Software-v01_00-EN this seems missing all classic Bluetooth APIs, where can I find it with these APIs? or how could I add it?
Show LessHi,
We are using Wiced 6.6 for one of our BLE based application. I am planning to implement new Custom GATT services and characteristics. There are several APIs are defined in wiced_bt_gatt.h using which GATT services and characteristics can be defined.
Some of them are PRIMARY_SERVICE_UUID16, CHARACTERISTIC_UUID16, CHARACTERISTIC_UUID128_WRITABLE, CHAR_DESCRIPTOR_UUID16….
I am looking for Application notes or user guide where description and details of these APIs are captured.
Thanks,
Lokraj
