Hi All,
We are using the Cypress module CYBT413061 for both GATT & Classic communications.
In that we have an requirement for accessing Social media notifications. For that we had already achieved in Android with GATT service.
For iOS its not possible through iOS app/GATT service. Instead of that we find a BT stack profile named as ANCS for getting social media notifications.
Can you please guide me to integrate the ANCS profile in this existing project.
If you have any document/ base project for ANCS profile and with auto reconnection capabilities.
Show LessHi all,
we are dealing to make the following system to work using Bluetooth Mesh #cybt-213042-02# eval-kit examples. The simplest project here would be to flash in one board thMesh_Demo_Temperature_Sensor provided example in order to be able to read the measured temperature in a Smartphone.
We thought that flashing the boards with the corresponding configuration would be easy to somehow manage to get some data once the phone is connected to a Proxy role node. However, we have no clue about how to implement this following any of the offered guides or examples.
As shown in the Getting Started with Mesh document, as well as in many others hardly found here, it is ensured that we can connect to a Phone or any other BLE device using a GATT_Proxy device.
Could anyone try to help us with some guidance about how to connect to a Proxy node through non-mesh BLE? Many thanks in advance.
Best Regards.

Hi
I am using the cyw20706 chip
and utilizing the wiced-studio SDK to implement the SPP profile using SDP and RFCOMM.
During testing, I found an issue with BT USB dongle connection that did not occur when using a mobile phone.
After the initial connection between the BT dongle and the cyw20706 chip, there is an issue with reconnection.
Upon checking the airlog, it was observed that the SDP is disconnected by the module after 30 seconds, and subsequently, reconnection is not possible.
*BT USB Donlge : Laird BT900-US
This phenomenon is not observed when connecting with a mobile phone and cyw20706.
After comparing and analyzing the airlog of the device experiencing reconnection failure with the one operating normally (smartphone), it has been determined that when the cyw20706 sends an SDP disconnect request, channel creation for SDP and RFCOMM requests does not occur again, leading to reconnection failure.
Can you explain why this phenomenon is occurring?
Is this a compatibility issue with the chip?
Is there a way to establish a new connection for SDP during reconnection using the cyw20706 SDK?
Thanks..
Is there a sample project or host application that I can program to be able to use the AIROCBluetoothTool, or how do i configure my evaluation kit?
The usual sample projects use uart for printouts, but for the tool it seems that i need a host application that handles HCI UART between the tool and the controller.
Hi,
I would like to do a HID over ISOC test by connecting two CYW20829 KITs. Could you please provide me with any relevant guides or instructions on how to do this?
Thanks.
Show LessI got a CYW920829M2EVK-02 CYW20829 bluetooth le soc evaluation kit and i'm trying out some example projects but i have issues using the BSP
first i need to get it locally, but if i need to add anything to the bsp it doesn't work
trying to pen it with bsp-assistant i get
Loading BSP...
Finding the mtb-template-cat1 (release-v1.0.0) asset...
ERROR:This BSP does not have .mtbx files. Please use BSP Assistant or Project Creator to create the starting BSP.
mtb-template-cat1 asset found at .../.modustoolbox/global/mtb-template-cat1/release-v1.0.0 (0 ms)
how can i work with this bsp and the projects it supports, how can i update it with libs/components that some projects seem to need?
for example i'm trying mtb-example-btstack-freertos-findme, which i think is the original firmware it came with
after manually adding the bsp and the libs i need for the project, i need to add some more stuff to the BSP like some capsense stuff and psoc6-middleware i think
after "make getlibs" and "make build" i get the following error at the moment

I want to transfer data in UART format over BLE from PSoC-4 BLE to PC without using a Cypress BLE dongle at the PC-side. I am wondering if its possible.
Note: I have tried out BLE UART Code in github to transfer data from PSoC-4 BLE to PC with the help of a BLE dongle at the PC side. Want to know if I can do the same without the dongle.
