Hello,
We are planning to use CYBT-353027-02 in our product. I have few queries.
1) Need details able the Host stack. We want to execute stack on iMX using Linux OS.
2) Whether below profiles are supported in Host stack.
A2DP Source with AVRCP for Volume control.
HID Host & Device Role
SPP Server & Client
3) In DID D039123 I am seeing only SPP profile but not A2DP and HID. Whether Host stack is supported but not supported.
4) Apart from Cypress Host stack, whether open source stacks are supported like BlueZ or Fluoride.
Thanks & Regards
Vishnu Beema

Hello @ViBe_4457111
1. There seems to be no other QDID which covers the profile you have mentioned.
2. We do have some vendor specific HCI commands. I would suggest you to go through CyBluetool available here: https://community.infineon.com/t5/Public-Archive/CyBluetool-User-s-Guide/m-p/256195 . All of the supported commands are available in this tool.
3. Yes, we do have BSA

Hello @ViBe_4457111
2,3. Yes, A2DP , HID , SPP all profiles are supported on this module.
1, 4. You can use our CYBT-353027-02 with any host stack. The module can act as BT controller by sending HCI commands via HCI UART interface. It supports all standard HCI commands.
For Bluez , you may refer our blog here: https://community.infineon.com/t5/Resource-Library/Running-BlueZ-on-CY-Part/ta-p/246050

Thank you for your inputs.
1) Regarding Bluetooth SIG certification, are there any DID / QDID covering A2DP and HID profiles similar to QDID for SPP profile.
2) Are there any vendor / Cypress controller specific HCI commands. Though theoretically any stack can send standard HCI commands, we usually come across vendor specific commands to controller firmware.
3) Apart from BlueZ, what is the Linux Host stack used by Cypress. Is it WICED or BSA.
Thanks & Regards

Hi , one more clarification on point 1 . Since profile is generic to all platform so we don’t list specific to any platform. We have A2DP listed and QDID is 173373 but do not have HID profile as of now.
