In your website (see here), the Product Status for BT modules is listed as either "Active" or "Active Preferred", what is the difference between these two?
We are currently evaluating CYBT-253059-02, this module is listed as "Active". 

Can we rely on Active but not preferred modules like CYBT-253059-02 for our future products?

As I known, active is available currently. But there is no expertise on this topic (production cycle etc.) in this Infineon Developer community, you are recommended to seek help from your local Infineon representatives. 
More than welcome asking technical questions or sharing experience in this community.
