First question asked Welcome!

Hello Infineon Everyone

My name is Jesus Velasquez from the DSD company. We are interested in a MCU with Classic Bluetooth ,specially in A2DP profile (Source) for commercial use. The idea is to replace  the current BT module  (Pan1326/CC2564) out of the stock .

We don't  have previous experience using cypress modules for this job .That is why I'd like to ask for suggestions for selecting a proper MCU+ Bluetooth  to accomplish the next requirements:

  • Low Cost  ( 5 - 6 USD  the best )
  • Low power ( roughly same as  CC2564 Texas instrument)
  • Bluetooth 4.0 or more
  • Audio control. ( generate and transmit sounds from MCU).
  • FCC CE certifications
  • availability/Stock ( Thousands )
Thanks in advance

Hi,

I would suggest you to use CYW20721 as it has more software support for Audio Applications (Sink, Source, etc.) and it is comparatively new chip. You can also check CYW20706 which has comparatively less audio support. Also it is an old chip.

Please check below page to get more information and datasheet of these chips.

Go know more about software/SDK support, please go through below page.

Please contact our sales/Marketing team for getting information about the stock information and roadmap.

Thanks,
