How to flash CYBT-343036 using ftdi ft232rl

Hello,

I want to flash my firmware using FTDI ft232rl. I have connected RXD,TXD,CTS,RTS, VCC & GND of FTDI to controller's RXD,TXD,CTS,RTS, VCC & GND but it is not working.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Hi Neeraj,

Make sure Txd is connected to Rxd on both the sides.

Did you try recovering the board? Is reset command working (giving Success)?

Yes, I make sure Txd is connected to RDX on both sides.

Yes while flashing I make sure recovering and reset is button is pressed and both are GND after 1-second reset button release and after 1-second recover button release.

When I execute target "demo.XXXXXX-CYBT_343026_EVAL OTA_FW_UPGRADE=1 download UART=COM7" it flashes RX LED on FTDI ft232rl.... does that mean reset command working?

I have a CYW920719Q40EVB-01 board and when I am using HCI to flash it flashes perfectly.

I dont think flashing red LED means reset successful. 

Just update your driver once in device manager, check if your wires are proper.
