Use CYW920719B2Q40EVB-01 EVALUATION KIT by Modustoolbox,Application:HAL-PUART,cannot realize the result of this program.

Hardware connection are as follow:

Logic Analyzer CH0--J10 TX 

                               CH1--J10 RX

                               CH2--D1

Send character 4 to the SoC three times,but no response.

Did I do something wrong?

Hi Nichol,

The application code sent out some text on reset. It is also not received on your COM program. I doubt you made any changes to device configuration. Anyway, I have attached the screenshot of mine for your reference.

Hi Nichol,

It is not clear on your photo, is there a jumper between J10(5-6)(TX) and J10(7-8)(RX)?

Hi Nichol,

You need jumpers between J10(pin 5 and pin6)(TX) and J10(pin7 and pin8)(RX).

Refer to schematic for details.

Hi Nichol,

There are 2 com ports for the board. Please use the WICED Peripheral UART port. I have also attached a photo of the board with the jumpers. I am able to run the HAL_UART application without issue.

Hi Nichol,

HAL_PUART does not involve Bluetooth, no need to set Bluetooth address. Your settings are similar to mine.
