Hello,
I would like to confirm SIG certification for a system with a CYBT-343026-01 Module programmed with EZ-Serial F/W.
Should I register only the QDID of the Module when performing SIG certification for the end product?
In the thread below, it is commented that EZ-Serial F/W supports BT4.2.
Module is 5.0 and stack is supposed to be 4.2, is this a problem?
If there is a problem, does it need to be registered with 4.2 as an End product?
If yes, how should I register with BT SIG?
Thanks

Hi Keta,
Yes, there have two QDIDs for the end product. But I think you just need to register the newest(164447).
Thanks

About how to register with BT SIG, please refer to this link:
https://launchstudio.bluetooth.com/
I believe if the certification is 5.0, but the features are 4.2, you should still use the 4.2 part of the newest certification.
Thanks

Hi Sven-san,
Thank you for your reply.
Please let me confirm a little more.
CYBT-343026-01 has two QDIDs.
99198 - End Product
164447 - End Product
The designs combined into each End Product are as follows.
99198 - End Product
- 72771 - Component : BTE WICED (Core Spec 4.2)
- 104467 - Component : CYW20703/CYW20704/CYW20706/CYW20707/CYW20734 (Core Spec 5.0)
164447 - End Product
- 115853 - Component : CY-WICED 4.0 BLUETOOTH Host Software Stack (Core Spec 5.0)
* Combined 72771 : BTE WICED (Core Spec 4.2):
- 159590 - Component : CYW20707/CYW20706/CYW20703/CYW20704/CYW20734 (Core Spec 5.2)
- 101726 - Component : CYW-MESH 1.0
Since the core spec of BTE WICED is 4.2, when registering the End Product with a module that uses EZ-Serial, I think that there is no problem in registering the End Product with "99198" or "164447".
Do you recognize each other?
Also, when registering a final product with a custom F/W that uses the latest BT SDK (AIROC™ Bluetooth Host Software Stack 4.3 [QDID:196979]), should I register "196979" together with "99198" or "164447"?
Thanks
