Hi,

our new product is using a TLV493D.

We are using it as a angle sensor at the end of a shaft. We are using a N45 4mmx10mm as per one of your user manuals.

We have discovered that this magent has a magnetic force of 1.3T, however the  TLV493 data sheet states a maximum of 1T.

Our magnet is approx. 1-2mm above the TLV493D.

Can you please clarify if this magnet is suitable.

Regards

Leon

Hello Leon,

The mentioned magnet is suitable for this application.

The detected magnetic field at a position of 2 mm will be much lower than Bmax  mentioned in the datasheet.

The same can also be verified using 3-D simulation tool.

Best regards

George
